Brett is the Corporate GIS Manager for Terracon Consulting Engineers and has worked in the GIS field for over 2 decades. His duties include the management of GIS analysis, geohazard mapping, web and mobile mapping projects, company GIS support. In addition to his regular duties, Brett is a Maine State Certified Reserve Police Officer, holding the rank of Specialist with the York Police Department. He is a certified Forensic Investigator and certified Forensic Mapper for crash and crime scene investigations. He also provided assistance to many local, state, and federal agencies through the use of crime mapping and analysis. Brett has his FAA certification as a Remote Pilot in Command for small UAVs. Brett is a member of the GIS Leadership Academy committee, is a co-author for the Advanced GIS Leadership Academy, was the Secretary for the NEARC Board of Directors from 2012 - 2014, was President for the NEARC Board of Directors from 2014 – 2016, was Past-President for the NEARC Board of Directors from 2016 - 2018, and was a member of the Board of Directors for the New England Chapter of the URISA from 2012 – 2014
