Jose Simo has worked for the Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) for the past 25 years. Most of his career was focused around data analysis and programs development. For the past 6 years, Jose has served as the MassDOT GIS Outreach Coordinator. In this role, he has worked on strategic planning within the organization as well as with municipalities to further the integration of GIS into all business workflows. This includes the development of the MassDOT Transportation Asset Management Plan and Capital Investment Plan.
